CAP:
4 days after her shoot with Sweetside Magazine …

Panel 1: Jane decides to find herself an agent who will take care of all the offers. She finds that agent, in Kurt James.

KURT:
Miss Allen, as I’m sure you know, you are now a very popular figure in this town, and are probably the biggest athlete to ever be in this place. There are a lot of offers here, I will review them and decide which seem good, and which are not worth it. I’ll let you know in a few days.

JANE:
Good, I really need to get back to my workout, I feel so weak … like everyone else, I feel like a wimp …. Time to hit the gym.

Panel 2: Jane arrives at the gym, and does a few hours on the treadmill, and just as she is finishing with that, her phone rings.

SFX:
Janes cell phone ringing ….

JANE:
Hello …

KURT:
Miss Allen, its Kurt James here, among the offers here is a TV show offer, you would be the lead character … I feel you need to review it, it may be something worth the time. I will forward the details.

Panel 3: Jane arrives home, and goes to her laptop to review the details, a lead role in a TV show, similar to ‘Speed Racer’ , except she would use her feet, and her speed would be exaggerated … the title is ‘She-Speedster’. She decides to meet with the executives.

CAP:

EXECUTIVE:
Miss Allen, we are prepared to make you the lead star, you can read the terms of the offer in the contract in front of you.

JANE:
I’m sorry … this is below me … I’m the biggest thing to ever be seen in this wimpy little town. My career is worth more then this crappy TV show.

Panel 4: The executive stands up in shock, but before he can make them leave, Kurt tries to make it right.

KURT:
Listen, listen, my client is clearly expecting a little more, is there any way to make it happen?

EXECUTIVE:
Yes, I should tell you that Miss Allen is the only one the company wants in this role, they believe she is the perfect fit. Therefore I am prepared to double the offer on that sheet.

Panel 5: Jane immediately smiles, and shakes his hand, and the deal is done. Its not long afterwards that her arrogance once again makes an appearance.

Panel 6: Jane arrives home, and posts on social media about how she is bigger then the show she is leading, and she is the reason the show will succeed.

CAP:
45 minutes later ….

SFX:
Jane phone rings …..

EXECUTIVE:
Miss Allen, after much review, and seeing your social media pages, we are making our offer null and void, we will seek a new actress. Thank you.

Panel 7: Jane sits in with a blank look. The offer of a lifetime, the chance to make a lot of money … and she just tossed it all away because of her huge ego.

CAP:
Her career as a track and field star is essentially over, and her TV career never got started … Jane decides to leave Sweetside and start fresh, in a small place called Lanville Township.
